Therapy and Counseling

A Certified Social Worker in New Jersey, I have supported many clients in moving from fresh grief, to self-discovery, and ultimate recovery. My serene office-setting provides a comfortable, life-affirming atmosphere, where the grieving client can feel at ease, ready to open up, and join in a "heart-centered" journey toward healing and wholeness.

As a New Jersey Licensed School Social Worker, I have extensive background in social problem solving, behavior management, and crisis intervention. As a mental health professional, I have provided individual and group counseling in the agency setting.

Therapy and CounselingThrough continuing education, I have developed skills in many modalities of treatment, but my focus is on meeting the specific needs of the individual client. Within a combination of hypnotherapy, regression therapy, cognitive therapy and energy work, I strive to incorporate the most effective mind/body techniques to achieve balance, health and empowerment.

In addition to grief and loss, other issues addressed, through the Heart-centered Hypnotherapy model, include stress management, addictions, chronic pain and illness, and weight management. A hypnotherapy session includes the co-creation of a script, which is then recorded for the client's home use.

I offer a free phone consultation, where we can both decide if we are a good "fit" to work together in the therapeutic setting. If there is mutual agreement to go forward, we can then arrange our first appointment. At that point, I will email (or snail-mail) you a Client Personal Information form-- to be filled in, and brought to your first session.

If I feel you could be best helped elsewhere, I will take the time to search out other options.

In the event of inclement weather, phone sessions can be arranged.
